In any content management systems are several methods of inserting content and resources in the system and it is to have lots of methods that makes a system more or less flexible, and available methods to automate the sometimes tedious process of loading content. Whichever is the intention of operating a content system, we may need to load the content made by users or that it is made by a content team or department, and on this basis the needs are very different. If the users what they have to contribute, we need to do so from anywhere in the network, and that they are tools to ease this task, whether it is a single file or even if it is a lot of them who want to incorporate into the system once and automatically. TebasCMS allows users that have permissions to do so, contribute their own content through the application interface itself, a Web component that allows selection of one or several files and automatically load a row and the same. Provide the possibility for the user to contribute content, means we can determine the condition of content, so you have some control over it, and was not automatically be published without review by an administrator to approve various aspects, These tools allow can define a complete workflow and organize independently of the number of people contributing, whether small or very large.

Ingest methods

TebasCMS collected between their content insertion tools following types:

  • Contribution from the Web

Both the contribution from the web, such as loading of content via Flash or Java widgets of the application, intended for user contributions, the  Flash or Java widget allow the user to select one or more files from one object type file browser such as those usually used by programs to open or save documents.

Other procedures for loading, are aimed at groups content creation or loading methods with remote users, both local folder as the FTP method may allow for content to a folder, either locally or remotely and the administrator interface selections from TebasCMS content you want to register in the system.

Watch Folder

This powerful and versatile method offers within TebasCMS system allows the loading of resources through a folder, ready on the local system and server, which in turn can contain other folders. In this case TebasCMS through a programmed process, analyzes the folder structure of the ingest branch, inserted into the system all contents therein are allowing several functions in addition to information about that structure, for example to organize content automatically using the folder names of second and third level of the directory, such as automated topics. We can also define a mapping between folder names and areas of documentation that has been defined, so this is documented automatically during the ingestion of content. It is also possible to generate a category tree TebasCMS as a field of documentation, which is synchronized with the directory structure of the folder, which is convenient when looking at the contents afterwards.
